Haunted Bridge, 1914

Ninteen Fourteen
During World War One
Something happened
Under this bridge
Something so evil
It'll make you cringe

They dam(n)ed the valley
To make a lake
The dam gave way
The valley quaked
Her body trapped
A real heartache

The water rushed
To break the dam
With ferocious force
She was playing on the banks
At the river bridge
Swept up in it's course

The water spun round
Like a whirlpool
In the riverbed,
In the concrete,
She flailed her arms
Then sunk 15 feet

Late at night
When lone coyotes howl
You can hear her call
Help me!, Help me!
Then hear waters gush
Where there's no water at all
