January Wine

Napa and Sonoma – gorgeous in the January Rain
I've lived in places with terrible weather
But ended up in the Western Sun
East of Eden
I never went back to where I'm from

I've become a Westerner
Its here where I Love
Left the East Coast 40 years ago
I never went back to where I'm from

I liked where I grew up 
Small town called Newton 
Near the Appalachian Trail 
I never went back to where I'm from 

January in Wine Country 
A great place to run 
Especially when its rainy 
I never went back to where I'm from
