The Riverbed

There is a riverbed
With a Great Gallery
Filled with works
For you to see

You have to hike
A couple of miles
But that hike
Will open your eyes

On the walls
Of sandstone rock
Ancient scenes
Some will shock

Hard to believe
The native tribes
Hunted and collected
To stay alive

This is their land
They were here first
Stolen by Europeans
Imperial thirst

Quit your whining
Modern man
You're not entitled
That's not the plan

Stop your crying
Or you'll get what's due
Some Imperial Force
Will steal from you
