Highway Patrol

I started laughing today at all of the weird old phrases for a cop or detective – copper, flatfoot, gumshoe, smoky bear, dick, etc, etc. Then I remembered my son singing a song he made up when he was playing with either a Lego or Matchbox Police Car. And the rest shall be history!

Highway Petrol
We catch the bad guys
We catch the bad guys

Hey you snot nosed kid!
Watch your manners
Because if you don't
I'll throw you in the slammer
