Noxious Weeds

I'm here today
To address the Nation
Who mentally has been
On vacation

We only have one
Chance to correct
Remove the poisonous
Nasty insects

Just like Jesus
Its time for show
From the temple
The cretins must go

Politicians, pundits
Trumps are thieves
Strewn about
Like noxious weeds

Alas I fear the
Bottled up rage
About to be released
From its rusty cage

Violence now is
Back in fashion
History repeats
Assasinations

I’m remembering the hate in America that led to the two Kennedy MLK and Malcolm X assassinations. Things are bad politically today, and gun violence is worse, but things are mote different than similar.
