Glass

This image is light refracting from the edge of the roof of the neighbors building. There are no tricks or post processing gimmicks here. He looks like a fellow whom I talked to on the Ham Radio in 2013 – his name was Monk Apollo and lived on Mount Athos in Greece.

This was a cello part that I wrote and because it is so percussive – it was hard to write a guitar part around. I haven’t used a synth patch for some time (I’ve been using mostly electric or acoustic piano sounds) – but this cool old ARP 2600 patch fit well. The bells are from a Synclavier patch.

I did add some fuzzed guitar for some guitar sound – but used it almost like a synth patch – which was fun and a little dissonant (on purpose to keep the synth line from being a little too monotonous.
