Ghost Train Radio2022: Year of the Phony Baloney
Thank God for Elon Musk and the American Voter in 2022.
While a good 35% of the country are complete morons – who would only be happy if we turn into Idiocracy, there are more who seem to have awakened.
For me, this year had one giant surprise – Elon Musk outing himself as just another Donald Trump style false idol. The way these assholes project and bring on their own demise is actually breath taking.
Rather than get political, lets just say that as long as Americans remember “If it seems too good to be true it probably is” we will end up being OK.
I fell for the “Myth of Elon”, so for whatever reason, Americans (maybe all humans) seem to need a hero. I’m not sure why, but I was humbled this year (in a great way) thinking there was a hero in this Trumpian Mini Me.
Its time to remember to think logically and be careful about letting my emotions cloud the truth. And man, there must be a con man in every hedgerow.
American Capitalism = $ales, so I guess we are all conditioned to “buy or die”.
Here’s to 2023 and my hope for more Phony People to out themselves.
