I really loved how cycling has been a serious mode of transportation in Amsterdam since (a very long time ago).
I had a great day today. We’ve had to look at a neighbors eyesore house and property – that looks worse than any trailer park home I’ve ever seen – for 2 years now, and I had an idea – to create a series of garden assemblage art pieces on lodge poles (which people use to stake trees). I built a test piece that has colored Telegraph insulators and it looks great. It blots out the neighbors eyesore and diverts your attention to nice colored glass. My theory that psychologically it would look “larger” than it is worked out even better than I had hoped for.
I’ll post some pictures soon in an amongst the Amsterdam series.
