The Verdict

Oh yeah! I really have finally found my sound after almost 3 years of getting back into playing music and writing songs after being away from any musical instrument for 35+ years.

I also have stumbled on a really fun still life idea that is akin to Assemblage art. I filled these wooden boxes with doo dads randomly, and by happy accident scenes appeared. Add in a cool portable lighting source, and voila!

The verdict in my studio: looks like the combination of Shure SM-57 and Royer R10 are still the best.
