A Magic, Cyclical Thing

This year
Spring leaped
Into my lap
Like a little dog
After a long nap

The rains came
And filled our cups
The previous years
Left plants dry
Almost in tears

Its then
That I realized
That seeds sown in spring
Are harvested in fall
A magic, cyclical thing

Spring starts showing a few very signs in February. While Fall and its colors blow me away, I’ve come to understand that what happens now defines next Falls colors.

But its a lot more than that – Spring has a bountiful bouquet of its own. There are buds on the trees and some – like the Camelia and other trees with big flowering buds are quite the sight. Then there are the fruit trees – buck cherry and others that offer sights and smells that bring smiles.
