I took this photo when I was working for a San Francisco startup that never made it. Their idea was pretty good, but their choice of technologies used to make their product was a total hack job. And Snowflake kicked their ass to the curb.
I used to carry a camera to and from work, back in the days when you had to go to the office. Funny thing – I only liked the commute because I had a camera with me.
There were a few famous street photographers who never quit their day job but later in life their photography became well known in the art world. Wouldn’t that be cool? The odds of that happening now aren’t very high because there is just way to much media to consume on the internet. Way too much competition.
