Metropolitain

I had to save this photo of a Paris metro station from 1987. The sign was visible enough – but the competing light and shadow was a mess. Since my goal was to evoke a graphic notion of these classic signs with such a cool font – I figure – what the heck – lets give it a spring motif – now that we are getting some good bud break in the SF Bay Area – and a gorgeous day that ranges from 65 – 70 degrees today. In a few days we will drop down in temperature – but that’s OK – the plants and trees know its early spring – and they are right on schedule.
