The Witching Hour

When the sun goes down
She plays her part
On the player piano
Its after dark

She plays a tune
From her faded past
A show tune number
She was in the cast

The 1930's
She was in her prime
Those were the days
A really great time

After she died
She rode a broom
Now she sits and stares
In her old dressing room

This song was written using my Gretsch lap steel in D tuning. Tomorrow I’ll write a song using my “hot rod” nodded Recording King lap steel with Seymour Duncan Phat Cat pickup.
