Ghost Train RadioI’ve Finally Found My Sound
Its taken two years, but the sound I’ve wanted to achieve finally not only is here, but its repeatable. I’ve worked hard at it and knew I’d have to become a better musician and recording artist would be the biggest prerequisite hurdle.
My biggest influences are:

- The Feelies (big Lou Reed influence)
- Uncle Tupelo / Son Volt
- The Decemberists
- The Shins
- Built to Spill (big Neil Young influence)
- XTC
- Bluegrass
- Blanche
I don’t think I sound like any of these, which is great. What do you think – does my sound remind you of anyone? I suck at singing, but that hasn’t stopped me from trying.
My fantasy (as a song writer) is that some one or band would do my songs justice some day.
My reality is just to try to write a song a day and become a better song writer and musician – which I know is happening and I’m loving it.
