When Autumn Leaves Leave

Why do Fall colors 
Come and go 
So fast?
We welcome them in
But they say,
"Sorry, I'll pass"

It's not that 
They're being rude ...
Just busy I guess
Getting ready for Winter
Ready to sleep
In cold weather dress

The sun's fading rays
Ends Summers
Long stay
I guess it's a wish 
For Autumn
To not go away
